Mathew is a Senior Broker and is the Executive Manager of the Supermarket Sales Special Division at Benchmark Business Sales and Valuations. With over 35 years of extensive industry experience, Mathewhas earned a reputation as the "go-to" expert in the field, having successfully cultivated relationships with both Vendors and Buyers alike. He's been an indispensable asset to the company since joining in 2013.

Under Mathew's leadership, a dedicated team of Supermarket Brokers has been established across major cities in Australia, including Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast. Mathewensures that each member of his team brings their own industry knowledge to their role and Mathew is committed to offering assistance, training, and mentorship to ensure their continued success.

He worked in the corporate world as a Regional Manager and Area Manager with Metcash and owned and operated his own IGA and Supa IGA stores. His rich experience enables him to have a keen understanding of the industry and the needs of business owners and buyers.

Mathew's extensive network includes professionals from financial institutions, Solicitors, Accountants, Store Designers, and all associated trades. He provides Consultancy Services for new owners entering the industry and has valuable business connections with Developers for "Greenfield" sites (new commercial buildings). In addition to this, Mathew has demonstrated expertise in selling commercial properties and has a substantial list of quality investors ready to make a purchase.

Mathew's accolades are many, including the prestigious 2017 REIQ Business Broker of the Year 'Excellence Award.' Outside of his professional life, Mathew is a family man who enjoys boating and fishing, playing tennis, and cheering on his favourite AFL team, the Collingwood Magpies.
